THE Weipa Raiders continued their strong start to the Western Cape Rugby League competition with a convincing 36-20 win against Aurukun at Andoom Oval.

There were no try scorers recorded for Aurukun.

In the later game, the Napranum Bulldogs bounced back from their round one defeat to trounce the undermanned Old Mapoon Brumbies.
